A few months ago I found out that Phish would be playing 3 shows at Red Rocks...since Tim loves Phish and the concerts were going to be close to his birthday, I decided to do a little deception and tell him I didn't really want to go because Phish sucks and they are just a bunch of no talent clowns who stink of patchouli, and they think they are so hot, but they are in fact very much not so, etc, etc...all the while I was planning on getting to my computer the second they went on sale and buying Tim tickets. Well, that second rapidly passed by, and so did the minutes, hours and in fact the whole week after until I finally realized that I had forgotten to buy those stupid tickets! Arg. Well, the next step would be Craigslist or Ebay, where the tickets to all 3 sold out shows were going for roughly $200 each. Arg again.
Well, after a month or so of trying to figure out how to get Tim legally and cheaply into the concert, I arranged for him to get the 4:20 KBCO Phish question of the day answered correctly! Who out there knows the weight of a Colorado record fish caught just this week in the Aurora Reservoir? I guess all the pothead Phish Phans were too high to google the answer before Tim did! And so we will be off to hang out with stinky hippies this Friday!
By the way...the Colorado record for catfish = 35.22 lbs.
