Water Baby

We’ve got a water baby in our family. Yesterday we walked down to the pond where a bunch of ducks live that the girls like to feed. On the way we walked past the neighborhood pool (unfortunately it isn’t our neighborhood pool, or we would have been swimming in it instead of walking past it). Olivia saw this pool in all it’s chlorinated glory and decided that was the place for her. “Waa-tee, waa-tee, waa-tee” was all that she wanted. Poor little baby didn’t want to leave, she just stood there with her little arms stretched out towards the pool chanting “waa-tee, waa-tee”. The same thing happened on the way back, but this time she walked up to the fence and started trying to climb over it. I think we might need to find another way to walk to the duck pond.
