Rude Awakening!

This is Tim this time. It's my first post in a long time, but something that is very amusing to me happened over the weekend and I'm not sure if Reynee thinks it's as funny as I do.

My company's summer party was Saturday at Elitch Gardens - the local amusement park. We did the carousel and Ferris wheel in the morning, then to lunch with the company. Olivia and Annie found an audience and put on a show. Annie insisted on displaying all of her current tricks - she walks like a wheelbarrow on her hands, she can do a backflip if you hold her hands, she thinks she can skip, etc. Olivia smiled at everyone, gave high-five's, then poured strawberry ice cream over her own head. So, to clean up, and because the high temp for the day would soon reach 98, we headed to the water park.

The had a pirate ship with water shooting everywhere, a wave pool, a lazy river and numerous water slides. We were all having a good time, but Olivia was getting sleepy. By the time we realized this, she was half asleep. She fell asleep while we were in line for our second trip down the lazy river. I helped Reynee and Olivia into a tube and off we went. Olivia was still asleep, didn't even move. We're having a good time floating around. I'm keeping Reynee & Olivia away from the waterfalls and playing with Annie. We are getting close to the end and... suddenly Olivia wakes up screaming like someone was shooting her with a fire hose!! They were filling the river with a fire hose and neither Reynee or I noticed it till they drifted into it, shooting right at Reynee's shoulder and spraying Olivia with cold water. Luckily, after 10 seconds or so, she realized she was still at the fun water park and was happy as can be the rest of the day! It barely phased her.
